Game UX UI exploration
2025

The Problem
Arc Raiders currently has no built-in way for teammates to trade items after extraction. During gameplay, this often forces players to repeat raids or rely on external coordination (and even third-party trading websites) just to share in-game materials. This pain point became the foundation for exploring how a lightweight, in-game trading interaction could fit naturally into the post-extraction summary screen the game.

Proposed solution
The proposed solution introduces a simple trading interaction inside the summary screen. Players can start a 1-on-1 trade, offer items from their raid inventory, confirm the exchange, and return to unloading without disrupting the team’s pacing. The flow stays within Arc Raiders’ existing constraints, with no stash access, no new systems, and full inventory privacy, making it feel like a natural extension of the post-extraction loop.
